Jennifer Gendron, head of development of Innovations at the EX Program by Truth Initiative, and Jarma J. Frisby, MS, CTTS-M, coordinator of tobacco treatment and wellness programs for the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, will co-present at the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health (GPBCH) Wellness Summit on March 30, 2021.
Their presentation, “Changing Outcomes with Mental Health, Tobacco Addiction, and COVID-19,” will discuss the interplay between mental health and tobacco addiction and how workplace policies and benefits can play an integral role in helping tobacco users quit.
They will also discuss effective interventions and policies that help tobacco users quit and reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health (GPBCH) is a membership organization for employers in the Philadelphia 5-county region (Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties), the State of Delaware, and Southern New Jersey. GPBCH seeks to increase the value of health benefit spending for its employer members by improving workforce and community health, increasing healthcare quality and safety, and reducing health care costs.
